how to not be sad if u think ur cat ran away and died
it was my bed time and i was really tired and well um my mom accedintally let ebony out on a school night and the next morning i went to look for her on the topof the garrage roof (were she ussally was wen she left at night and returned in the morning)and she wasnt there i yelled her name at the top of my lungs and still couldnt find her.the next morning i did the same went out to the back yard looked in the same places and she still wasnt there.after a few months i gave up untill…
i found this black cat that looked like eby. so i went lookin for it and… it vanished! asif in mid air.
so from then i thought it was ebys spirit saying her goodbys <=( and somtimes i think i can hear her meowing to me as if to say dont blame yourself but i cant stop.

Have you checked with all the shelters? I really feel bad for you. Just remember the good times with your cat. If she has passed, she will meet you on the other side. Don’t blame yourself, you loved your cat.

I am so sorry Kiley… About 10 years ago (wow didnt realize it had been that long!) one of my cats (who had been feral as a kitten) clawed open the screened porch and took off… It broke my heart, I searched and searched but never found him, although some people had seen him here and there. The only way I made peace with it was to believe in my heart that he truly wanted to live as a wild kitty that he originally was, that he so craved the outdoor life that although he tried to make me happy when I coaxed him to come inside and be lived as in indoor cat for 2 years, his heart belonged to the outdoors and he wanted to be there… I am sure that he is happy, maybe some other kind person took him in, or maybe he lives as an outdoor cat with a few nice people who put food out for him as some people do… I will always wonder…

I am so sorry!!! our dog ran away and disappeared too. But I know how you feel. Our cat ran away and was hit by a car and I can’t stop thinking that he still comes into my room and sleeps on my bed.

i say you could get another cat because my cat zoro had a disease and another one that got suficated.

I'm sorry to hear that, Milo765. Sometimes it takes time to mourn before you're ready to bring another animal into your life. But that is a great idea to consider. There are so many abandoned animals in shelters; if you have room in your heart and home (and wallet! ha!) to take another in, go for it!!

i know but she wasnt from a shelter she was a stray i also had a cat named scaro and she dissapeared with bubbles

well i tryed to keep one of her kittens but he died i wanted to keep him because he looked just like her but... he died so after a few weeks in thought i kep the other i named her isebella but she didnt like it so we named her kitty.and kitty is a crazy little evil kitty she bites hard i mean hard.
