when cats have kittens do they need to stay in dark to open there eyes i heard they would be blind if in sunlight

It doesn’t matter if kittens open their eyes in sunlight or dark, but the kittens would probably be more comfortable opening them in the dark.

I don’t think that is true about the blindness. A cat likes to have them in dark spots to hide them. They feel that it is a safer place for their babies.
