My cat’s back has two pink bumps and 2 scars, is wet, and the injuries are oozing white stuff.
I’m not really sure what happened to him but it’s serious.
It is located in the middle of his back.
He is an outdoor cat, and he might have hit by a crazy nextdoor neighbor with a broom; Ionly think this because she hates us and the cats.

Truthfully, if you can’t afford to take your cat into the vet to be treated…you should turn him over to a rescue agency so he can get the care he needs. If his back is “oozing”…it sounds like infection! This could be deadly to this poor cat. I would certainly keep your cat inside if you have neighbors who hate cats.
There are vets that will do payment plans. Call around but please get help for this poor kitty.

In some states, not giving your cat medical care that he needs and that could be life threatening...is considered a crime of animal abuse.

I absolutely agree. This sounds similar to the condition my cat was in when we adopted him. The owner was irresponsible and left him outside most of the time, resulting in the scuffle that gave him his head wound. It, too, was oozing. :( If it's starting to ooze pus, you have an infection and you need to get him (at minimum) an antibiotic.

I let my cat out because my neighborhood is very good and peaceful trust me. The people who walk by are always nice and they pet my cat. Even the dogs of my neighborhood play with him! My hamster died which was pretty sad because he used to play with my cat and anyways its ok to let your cat out 40-50 maybe even 60% percent of the time.

If you can’t afford a vet you shouldn’t have a cat. And if you aren’t willing to keep it in your house where it’s safe you shouldn’t have one either. That cat needs a vet and if you can’t take it then you should surrender it to a shelter where it can be taken care of and found a good home.

I know you mentioned that money is a problem, but I must say to please take your cat to the vet. A lot of vets will let you make payments. This could be serious if it is not checked because it sounds as if there may be an infection. Please do what you can to have him checked by a vet. Your cat is depending on you! (Your neighbor has no business hurting your cat! If you have proof, you could report the abuse to the humane society.)

my mom won't let us keep him inside!

well you need to talk to her about it. he will most likely DIE if you keep him outside. most cats that are let outside never come back.

I really hope that seeing him in this condition will help convince her that he needs to stay indoors. He is injured and needs medical attention, yes, but he could be dead. Next time he might not be so lucky. Please do your best to convince your mom to allow him to stay indoors. If you want some good reasons, see this post: http://www.cats.com/question/catcare/outdoors/is-it-healthy/

Don't worry, it's the same way over at my house. My mom said if we keep the cat, she goes OUTDOORS(that's where we found her). Money is really low right now....but if you could just pay for one visit, that would really be good. My dog has a BAD case of the flue right now...if she isn't feeling better in a few days, then we'll take her to the vet. But we like to see how things play out. # months ago we found out she had a 'slipped disk' in her back. The way we found out--the vet because we were so worried about her that even though we didn't have a whole lot of money, we tried. I understand you'r situation. My cats have been in fights with strays before, but nothing worse then a small gash in the front leg. My cats who are let outside always come back because in the daytime they come inside and i play and feed them. they love it here so they don't run away. keep me posted on what you decide to do :)

Chances are with a cat being outside, they WON”T die. I have so many neighboring cats and there pretty old yet they and my cats haven’t DIED yet.
