not to be gross but my mom said he smelled like rear end and he will not tack a bath what do i do?

Tell your mom to buy cat bathing wipes.they are big thick wipes to bath your cat.they sell them in any petstore.they do make your cat smell good.i use them on my cats.

this is a great idea. but this is one of the never-ending reasons not to let ur cat out. it makes them smell bad!!!

Thats why i don’t like letting my cat outside by herself. They can go anywhere and ge dirty. They may also get fleas on their body.

If he won’t let you bathe him, wipes or taking him to a groomer are options.
Additionally, try to determine the cause of the smell. If he smells like “rear end”, he may have an abscessed wound. My latest cat was an outdoor cat at his last home. When I got him, he smelled so unbelievably foul that we seriously second guessed ourselves for taking him in. We had to open the windows in the car when we took him home. It turned out that the smell was the festering wound he had suffered while on one of his adventures. After we had the vet flush the wound and pump him full of antibiotics, the smell almost instantly disappeared. No bath necessary!
So, yes, baths/wipes are good… but also CHECK HIM OUT for any signs of injury.
