Contaminated coat (licked!)

3 Answers  |  Asked By: mimicats   79

My kittens and cats live outside in a courtyard belonging to the blocks of flats around it. Today I noticed that one large kitten had white paint on him. i knew how to get it off because I have this problem before with another kitten. just when i brought him inside he sat down to clean himself when I was looking for a brush. My other kitten likes showing affection to him so she wanted to lick him when I tried to clean him off. there wasnt much paint left on his coat anymore. i do not have easy accsess to a vet or medical equipment and cannot keep an eye on my cats much as they live outside. What should I do is it dangerous to have a cat licking a type of paint?
