If your cat has not been fixed then it’s probably in heat. When i comes out of heat you should get it fixed and this will stop.

because he is lonely and wants attention. my cat does that too.

does the cat stands next to you and start making noises or does your cat move from one place to another and make noises because if this was the case then the cat might be looking for another cat to breed …
Is their a certain month or season where the cat starts making noises?
