I love going green and I heard that clumping litter is awful for the envirerment. I was looking for an alternative to clumping litter and I found Swheat Scoop. I was wondering, if there is anyone that is using it can tell me if its good or not. Or if anyone else using some other flushable litter can tell me where to find it and how good it is.

I had issues with the dust that it left in the house plus it didn’t clump all that well. We have to many cats to waste time dealing with messy, dusty non firm clumping litter. I ended up going back to Fresh Step Scoopable. However, I know many who use it and love it.
This article might help you come to terms with the “greeness” of your litter options.

I personally don’t use Swheat Scoop, but I have three friends that do. Here are their ratings.
1. I used to use it. It was very dusty and caused an infestation of little black round bugs that were drawn to the wheat! I haven’t used it for over two years and I’m still finding that wheat dust and bugs!
2. I have used it. It’s soft to crumbly. It would work great for a cat or two but I have more than that so I’m back to clay based scoop litter. The Swheat scoop does clump but the clumps are a bit sticky, and that doesn’t work for a foster home. I would stay with it if I only had a cat or two.
3. It’s not that good.

They also have that liter box that looks like a toilet. You put it in ur bathroom or laundry room You never have to cahnge the litter. It washes its self and drains the waste after liquifing it. I dont have one but Im deffinatly going to invest in one!
