Does anyone have any really good suggestions for litter? We were using Arm and Hammer but I found that it was too perfumy and we wound up associating the smell of the litter with cat waste so it was really unpleasant when the smell suddenly became overwhelming. Then we tried World’s Greatest Cat Litter which-yes- is great because it hides the smell really well- but also gets EVERYWHERE because the granules are so small and they give off a dust that the cat tracks over the couches in the form of little paw prints. We live in a small apartment with the litter box (awkwardly) in the living room so we need a litter that is really good at controlling smell (although we pretty much change it every night, so it doesn’t have to be some magical brand that lasts all week long), doesn’t get everywhere in powder or granule form, and preferrably clumps well and can be flushed. This might be asking too much- but does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks!!

We use Premium Choice All Natural Unscented litter. It\\\’s a scoopable litter. If you\\\’re using a non-scoopable litter, you will have to change the litter daily and it will smell. We have 30 inside cats (one with asthma) and find the unscented works the best for all of them. People have been in our house and were shocked to find out how many cats we have. They actually have said they couldn\\\’t tell that we had even one cat. They sell mats to place outside of litter pans to catch the litter. We built wooden houses to hold our litter pans that catch 90% of the litter. This litter can\\\’t be flushed but they do have brands out there that can be.

I have to say- the World\\\’s Greatest Cat Litter is holding the smell really really well. I might see if there\\\’s some way I can manage the yellow dust that comes off it because otherwise it\\\’s perfect…

I would recommend any litter that is not scentable, nothing to fancy.
I would really recommend that because I have found that all the fancy smancy litter has a smell too overwelming, like you said, and the litter that hides the stains or something, it gets all over the house when the cats get out.
I am actually also on a quest to find good liter so im cheking up on this forum to see what is reccommened.
=)
