How do you know your cats age?

There is really only one time during a cats life that you can tell a cats age with certainty and that is when it looses it’s baby teeth and gets it’s adult teeth in. The usually happens around 6 months. At any other period in a cats life it’s almost impossible to determine a cats age.

Even experienced vets are just making educated guesses when it comes to the true age of a cat because there really is no definite marker that tells the age. Looking at teeth and over all health can give some clues, but it’s still just a guess.

Look at how big it is,How it walks, How it jumps, and If its a girl, see if its had kittens. this can tell you that it is younger than or older than 4 months old.

I don’t think you can tell a cats age just by looking at it.My cat who is 18 still looks young.He doesn’t get around very well but if he was just sitting around you couldn’t tell he was old.And you can’t tell he’s 18 by how he moves.He could be older or younger than 18 and still get around like he does.

i thing you should look at how your cat behaves and then you well now how old your cat is.

your cats age: 1, 2, 4, 7, 10, 15, 20
human years:15,25, 40, 50, 60, 75, 105

the only true way to tell how old is to know.If you had the cat as a week old well then you know.most vets can tell you how old after you pay $300.00 just kidding.
