help! i went out side when i heard something. i thought it was my cats hissing which is unlike them, but them i looked at the pond thinking to add more water but i heard it again and i looked at the pond/water cleaner. it has algi and that all over it but today the water was off. where the clean water goes back into the pond through a hole/tube i heard the noise from there. i looked in the tube and there was a wierd thing. a bit big i think it was eating the algi or somthing making a hissing buzzy noise. i dont know wat it is or if it could give my cats a bad diese as they are outdoor cats. plz some1 help!

yes, it could hurt your cats, a filter is in finding nemo, chlorine is a substance to clean a POOL from bactieria and such when you swim.

hey isnt chorline that thing YOU put in a pool to keep it clean? you dont put that stuff in ponds. she said there was somthing in the cleaner. i have one and its called a filter. all ponds and fish tanks have it. well most. what did it look like? you said it was big, and eating the algi or somthing. what did it look like? it might be a cleaning shrimp thing off finding nemo. if no water is coming out than the filter must be off and when things are off they dont normaly make a noise do they!

that hissing noise u heard was probably the cleaner reacting because the water is to lo add more water and that should take care of the problem (it happens 2 my pool all the time)
