I\\\’m a bit confused by the body of your question, but the title asks how to give cats a bath, so I\\\’ll stick with that.

Bathing your cat is generally not a fun experience for the cat or the person… but occasionally it might be necessary (in the case of fleas, excessive dirt that the cat can\\\’t clean off on its own, etc.). You shouldn\\\’t bathe your cat too often, as it can cause dry skin. You want to put an inch or so of lukewarm water into the bathtub & use a cup (or your hand) to wet & rinse the cat. Avoid the head/eyes/ears. Lather the cat with a cat shampoo (sold at any pet store - look for something unscented) & rinse with the water cup. Make sure you dry the cat well when you\\\’re done. I generally rub mine down with a towel, then swaddle them in a different dry towel for a bit to absorb the leftover water & keep them warm.

I\\\’m attaching some websites that go into a lot more detail. Good luck!

Giving cats baths can be frustrating. first of all don\\\’t give them any hints that you are about to. They\\\’ll always try to get out so be prepared with a towel. Carefully lather them in cat shampoo, and rinse thuroughly. Towel dry your cat. . . .

first off it can get a little messy so try it some where other than in your house like a basement or back yard but remember to use only cat shampoo dog shampoo can iretate your cats skin and only use cat shampoo not kitten shapoo kitten shapoo can have some things in it that are to powerful for your cats and make sure not to get soap in their eyes thats bad news for a cat or kitten and dont put them in a durty bucket that has any thing but water in it any thing else could stick to your cat or kittens fur and that is how you give your cat a bath bye

They sell bath wipes, so you do not need to actually bathe your kitty.

You don\’t need to bathe a cat. Sometimes it can harm your cat if you do it on your own. If it has fleas your vet can bathe your cat otherwise it will clean itself.
