Remember - it is SPRING. That means it’s heavy shedding time for most animals in general; they’re getting rid of their winter coat. You will typically have to do a lot more brushing during this time than normal.
DIET is imperative for reducing shedding. Make sure the food you are feeding her is of a high quality. There are tons of threads on this website with suggestions for high quality foods.
Instead of just brushing, get a de-shedding tool. I am just beginning my love affair with the Furminator. It is AMAZING the amount of fur this thing pulls out!!! It really gets into that undercoat and drags out loads and loads of loose fur. It’s seriously the best $18.50 I’ve ever spent on my cats.
Good luck! ![]()

You may need to change her diet and feed her a better quality food. You may need to get a better brush also, one that gets to the undercoat.

u could also try giving ur cat a bath. I'm not soo sure cuz my cat doesnt shed that much, but u could try it, just remember not to blow dry the cat, just let him/her dry itself off

ya its true… since it is spring ll animals usually shed alot this time of season .
if it helps, put on a ruber glove or just wet your hand a bit and rub all over your furniture to help get the hair off it all.
