Has anyone tried those rubber brushes for grooming??

I was looking at one of those rubber brushes when I was at the vet/pet store today (I think it was called something like Cat Zoom? Made by Kong?). Has anyone used this kind of brush for grooming? Does it work well? I’m thinking about getting one to try with Vespa, who has long fur (and LOTS of it!). Lately she’s really had an aversion to the slicker (which I’ve been using since she was about 2 months old - she’s 4 years today), so I’m looking for an alternative to use between furminator sessions.

Any insight on the rubber brushes would be appreciated!
