Do longhaired cats get really hot in the summmertime?
I was just wondering if we should keep in cool in the house this time of year and have fans on? I don’t want Squeaky to overheat!

It\\\’s a good idea to keep the fans running for you and for the cat. Also, just leaving a fresh bowl of COLD water throughout the day will be fine. As long as the cat has shade, and water so it will not dehydrate, then it should be fine! Water us most important, though.

I totally agree. And remember, people, ANY cat can overheat, regardless of the length of its fur.

Give them lots of cold water and don\\\’t let your house get to hot or your cat may get heat stroke.
