Actually mine were. When I brought my cats home, from a lady who helps out an animal shelter, they both were sneezing with alot of mucus, left eye watery and small. She stated that they had chest colds. Now, I’m not sure if that is the right termonology for it, but it resembles a cold. I gave it a couple of days hoping it would clear up, thank God it did, in a week. It was because that lady had numerous cats, and a dog. They were bound to catch something. What I did in the meantime was clean their noses, & eyes. My older one Tiger couldn’t stand it, but Boots was ok with it. If in a week it doesn’t clear up, or if it gets worse TO THE VET. The only difference was my cats remained active.

Cats can get respiratory infections. You should take him to your vet and most likely you will get antibiotics. All three of my cats have gotten infections. I have seen it get pretty bad so maybe call your vet and tell them whats going on.

if it’s not a cold or infection it could also be allergies. Both of my cats have them but my oldest, Waylon, will get a runny nose and sneeze quite a bit when the weather changes, so if it does go away and you notice that it comes back periodilcally take your baby to the vet, they can diagnose allergies and give you something to give him so it doesn’ t get too bad.
