I have just wanted to know how long cats could live.

It varies from breed to breed of course, but the average indoor cat has a lifespan of 15-18 years. Outdoor cats have an average lifespan of about 3 years. Remember - these are just averages. There are cats on record who have lived into their 30s, but that isn\\\’t the norm.

The oldest reliably recorded cat was a female tabby called Ma. Ma lived to be 34 years old and died on November 5th 1957.

The Guinness Book of World Records confirmed that GRANPA was the world\\\’s longest-living cat and the Guinness award \\\”worlds oldest cat\\\” was given to GRANPA, in 1998. GRANPA lived to be 34 years, 2 months and 4 hours, and died on April 01, 1998. The previous record was 34 years and 1 day and had been set in 1957 by Ma from England.

There is a claim but not recorded in the Guinness Book about a cat named Puss who lived with Mrs. T. Holway of Devon, England, until she died on November 29, 1939 just one day after her 36th birthday.

15 or 18. i had 2 cats that lived till 19 so…………………………………….. it mostly depens on the type of breed your cat is.

the oldest cat on record is 33 years
but got sick but mosty live between 20 and 30
