Carefully….
We brought an adult cat into our home with 3 German Shepherds and one Pit Bull. She was introduced slowly….keeping her in a dog crate in the kitchen for several weeks because she was in heat. And then another 20 days while she healed. Then she was allowed out only under supervision. The cat launched herself onto our dog’s faces! We had a water spray bottle handy if she went at them. It took a month but she now lives in harmony with our dogs. This is your cat’s home. The dog will be an intruder BUT if can be done if you’re patient and don’t force them together. A puppy will want to chase and play with your cat. Just keep them at a distance and don’t allow them alone until they’ve had a long period of time to adjust to each other. Good luck!

Maybe it depends if your cat open up to a new dog and except it.
