Home > Cat Behavior > Why is my cat singing?
My kitty Sox is singing showtunes, non-stop and off key. It wouldn’t be so bad if she just hummed them, but man, she is flat out belting it! It started last night around dinner time. Is she maybe wanting more attention?

She is probably mad about the Red Sox blowing the ALDS and is voicing her opinions about it. I would let her let it out, it is probably healthy.

I would look into getting a singing tutor to help bring up her tone. Also, maybe introduce her to music that you enjoy more, so thie singing won\\\’t be as much of a bother. I would suggest Modest Mouse.
Later.
