They can actually swim very, very fast, but they don’t like their fur wet!!!

because they don’t want to get wet (this time i have correctly written WET) and catch cold also they hate their fur being wet

cats don’t like the feeling of wet fur on their skin underneath their fur. its ok to give your cat a bath even if they don’t like because you have to get them clean but don’t do it to often because it can dry their skin up.
