Most cats prefer to have nothing on top of them… If you lay a sock on top of your cat’s back, they’ll most likely arch away from it and crawl a bit until it slides off. I don’t know why they do this… Just a survival instinct I guess…
I used to have a cat who loved to burrow under the covers with me and sleep beside me. But that wasn’t until he was a couple years old.

Not all cats find this disturbing! 1 of my cats luvs 2 explore in between my pillows 7 lays underneath them while my head is on them & shes under them!!!
