Why do cats put rubber bands in their water bowl?
My grandkitty puts any rubber band or hair band in her water bowl. Why?

It’s hard to say why cats do the things they do.
It would be wise to keep rubberbands and hairbands away from your cat though. She could swallow them and they could hurt her.

your cat just might be playing or just thinks the rubber or hair bands are companions (akward) and just bring it because they feel a need to

Your cat probley likes the rubberbands because its like string (The cat is like cosmo from the farily odd parents cosmo likes string and rubberbands)
