Why are my two male cats friends, and my female and male cat, dislike eachother?
I purchased a kitten a while back, and brought it home. I looked very closely at the reaction of my other two outdoor cats, and I saw that Handsome { My male outdoor cat. } took quite readilly to him, and within a very short time, they were good companions, but Mickey Mouse, { My female outdoor cat. } was hissing, growling and even attacking my kitten when he came too near. I was shocked at the reaction from Mickey Mouse, and I would like to know why? Why is this?

well girl cats are know to be vicious it was the same thing as when i got my second cat, my girl cat Belle was very aggressive to him and bit and attacked him. But you just have to wait your cat will get used to your other cat . I suggest closely watching the two when you are home and when your are not but your new cat in a a room that has a cat bed, a litter-box, food, water, and toys that way they can not harm each other when your not able to be there to watch. You’ll only have do this until the two cats are used to each other. I hope this helps you!!!!!

Yore cats havent had a chance to use their scents on the other one . They will get along in a month or so or the male or female is under stress and is in bad mood whenever she sees him.

I’ve had my cat for about 6 years then got a new one and its been a year and they still don’t like eachother…Don’t know why they dont, guess just instinct

Because they aren’t familiar with eachother yet they smell different. DON’T WORRY AT LEAST YOUR CATS WILL GET OVER IT MY CATS RUFUS IS 5 YEARS OLD & 1 OF MY OTHER CATS MITSY IS 12 & SINCE THEY’RE SO OLD IT’S A LOT HARDER FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
