He’s been defecating outside his litter box. (Very far from his litter box!)
At first I thought he just didn’t like the litter but then sometimes he’d use it, sometimes he doesnt.
It’s happened about 5 times already.
And when he does use his litter box, he doesn’t “cover” the feces up like he normaly does.
(I don’t see him defecating, I just see the feces there on the floor and clean it up, so who knows if he’s been urinating outside the litter box too or not)
Health problem? I hope not!
He’s about 11 months old.

Well, not all cats cover their urine or poop. Your cat has somehow forgot where he is supposed to go to the bathroom so he is now confused. Follow these steps to help re-litter train your cat
1.- frequently place your cat in the litter box and make a scratching motion with their paws in the litter and then use the cats paw to cover the spot that you make your cat scratch.
2.- If your cat goes on the floor spray the cat with water and repeat step 1each time your cat goes on the floor.
3.- continue steps 1 and 2 until your cat is litter trained.
