You don’t.

Keep your kitty inside and safe and use a litterpan instead. By not providing a litterpan when your cat is indoors you are just asking for an accident to happen. Your cat WILL eventually pee in your house in in appropriate places if you don’t always keep a pan for them to use.

Not many of us on here believe a cat should go outside because of the dangers cats encounter out there. We use litter pans. It really would be better for your cat to keep it inside.

You don’t train your cat to go outside to use the bathroom.you litter train it too go to the litter box in your house.it is very danger’s outside .your cat can get hit by a car or attacked by a wild animal and get hurt pretty bad or killed by the wild animal.your cat wil not live that long living outside.keep your cat inside to stay warm and safe from the wild life and getting kill or injured by a car.your cat will be much happier inside and it will live alot longer if you keep it inside.please get your cat spay or neteured.

My cat never goes outside. He only uses his litter pan, and he did that on his own. There are many dangers that face cats outside. Please keep your cat inside if possible. I definitely agree with the other two answers here.

I don’t know about keeping kitty inside all the time. My cat is over 20 years old and she goes outside most of the time and I live in a very rural area. Cats love the outdoors to explore.
As far as training a cat to go outside to potty…….. I agree with the rest of the answers.. get a litter box and the kitty will be very happy to use it.. but it must be kept clean for the cat.

I agree that a cat can not always be inside but I trained my other cat to go to the bathroom outside but I don't know how I did.
