My cat, will fallow me around the house, attack me, meaw at me constantly, and wake me up at 6am just so I can feed her one type of food because she wont eat anything else. how do I change her behavor? she is relentless if she does not get what she wants. se also does this in the afternoon too.

What type of food is it? If it is a nutritionally balanced cat food, I would not worry too much about her eating only that. If it is something like canned tuna, cat treats, cooked chicken or lunch meat, however, you will need to stop feeding that to her if possible. NEVER let a cat go more than 24 hours without food or they can develop a serious liver problem, but try to encourage your cat to eat something appropriate. If you need to you can mix some of the favorite food in with the healthy food to encourage the cat to try it and slowly decrease the amount of the bad food over time until the cat is only eating the good food.
As for her harassing you to get the food, she does it because it gets results. If you’ve given in to her begging even ONCE then she learned she can get her way if she keeps at it. The only way to break this habit is to be just as stubborn as she is about not giving in. Ignore her when she begs. If you have to shut the door to your bedroom or keep her in one room with her litter box and other essentials at night, then do so. Until she learns that begging won’t get her what she wants she will keep doing this so you have to be just as stubborn as she is. It will take possibly a long time and she will probably get worse before she gets better, but you can only fix this problem by being consistent in not giving in to her begging.

You should try by putting different types of food,add little bit of different food on the first try,if it eats it,try putting more and more day by day.If its still very stubborn,dont false it to eat it.You can just try others.Or just putting some tuna on top of the new food for it to try.
