OK. Here’s the story:
I got my cat, Sparta, from a friend who’s cat had kittens and once I got him, I fell in love with him.
But, he was originally an outdoor cat and we want him to be an indoor cat.
So, here’s the problom:
He always sneaks away from us and darts out in our garage and hides under our car. I’m worried that we won’t know he’s in the garage and when the car starts up, he might get hurt, or if the garage door is open, he could run away.
We would of gotten a water bottle to squirt him with, but we don’t have the time, nor patience and we don’t want to hit him because that’s animal abuse.
Please. Any good advice or helpful ideas?
I don’t want to lose this cat!

my kitten used to do that too! You should probably keep him clodes up before you open an outside door, or have someone hold him so he doesn’t go into the car.

We do that, but he somehow just runs off... He also has a peeing issue and I'm afraid for that too... Thanks for the helpful idea though. I really apreciate it.

Cause its too cruel to not let them be free

To keep from running over him check under the car before you drive away.If you don’t want to do that then just keep the garage door closed so he can’t get inside.
