how do i find my cat ginger when he ran away. I have no pictures of him. I miss him and how do i have fun without him. I never tought him how to hunt properly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hepl!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear this.
Here are some of the things you can tryt:
-Hang posters EVERYWHERE around your neighborhood and local businesses
-Place ads in local papers
-Place ads on lost pet websites (like petfbi.org)
-Fax/email or deliver fliers/pictures to every vet & shelter in the area (and the city department responsible for clearing road kill… rather know than not)
-Visit local shelters to see if your cat has been turned in
-Walk around the neighborhood calling for him, shaking treats if he’s responsive to that sound. If you do this at night, bring a high-powered flashlight. That will help illuminate his eyes and make him easier to find.
-Set out a havahart trap and bait it with a strong-smelling food: http://www.cats.com/question/cathealth/threats/havahart-traps/

OMG! i am so sorry for you firecats! here is what i did when my cat ran away. i put lots of cat-nip on my doorstep, than my cat came running. that is how my cat lost it’s tail. a ratcoon ate it. here is another. pray for him. another thing you could try, is putting up some posters and/or asking lots of people if they seen your cat. also try putting food and water on the porch. that also worked on my cat. hope this helps your cat Ginger.

im sorry about your cat but im shure he will come back! when my cat booty ran away i cryed 4 days but im still shure she will come back and i know ginger will too<3

Pray. God takes animals away from us sometimes for reasons we don’t know. But have faith and ask him to bring your kitty back. It’s all about Faith and sometimes God takes things away from us so that we will become closer to him by praying that your kitty will come back. Good luck and tell me the outcome.

1. put posters up
2.leave his food outlarside and water
3.tell your neirbors have u seen a cat
4. next time if you find him put a collar on him with your address on it
5. or just dont let him go outside

Most cats do go off on adventures, and they know they are not lost, but the people they own believe they are lost. Most of the adventures will last from two to six days. But if there is something near your house that frightened them (dog, raccoon, straying tom) they may not feel safe enough to come back and stay. But they will probably come back at least once. Most neighborhoods have people who will take in or feed strays. Ask your neighbors if there is such a person in your neighborhood. For a picture for a poster, there are thousands of pictures of cats on the internet. Most likely you could find one almost identical to your cat that you could use on a poster. Copyright laws allow personal use of copyrighted material as long as it is not used to make money.

well most male cats do run away but they almost always come back mine did just today he ran away for about 6 days you can put up flyers that say what ginger looks like ans his name and stuff like that just keep an eye out and he may just come back to you but no matter what he always loves you.

i think keeping a cat inside is torture - cat love outside just like any other living thing on this planet does - if it is save of course - my cat use to look both ways b4 she crossed the street - i seen it twice.
