Why do cats love to have their chin scratched?

My cat loves to have his chin scratched too. It not only feels good for your them, but it’s a good way for you and your cat to bond. It’s like when someone gives you a back scratch. It’s enjoyable.

My cats Jerry loves it so much when u rub his chin because it makes calm and every time i do it he falls asleep.

my cat loves it to and sometimes purrs all cats love it and it’s another way of making your cat
feel safe with you and it makes your cat relationship with you increase

MY CAT LOVES TO HAVE HER CHIN/HEAD AND TUMMY SCRATCHED IT SOOTHES AND RELAXES THEM ALMOST LIKE THE WAY A MASSAGE WILL FEEL TO U. MY CAT LOVES IT SO MUCH SO GOES TO SLEEP RIGHT IN MY ARMS.

My cats also love to have their chins scratched. They even smile when I do! I assume it’s very comforting to them. In other words, I agree with Qieasha Gordon.

My brothers cat love it I think its because they cant scrath it themselves.
