I have a very old cat. I personly think i treat it perfect. But timt to timt it will randomly scrtach me! what can i do?

Sometimes cat just react naturally, by scratching, to things they find bothersome, scary or offensive, even if you don’t mean for it to be.

Can you trim your cats claws so you don’t get hurt if you accidently get scratched?

well b/c she is an old cat, she wont like to get picked up much, i no b/c i had a 13 year old cat

some old cats dont liked to be picked up they just like to lie and most old cats are very lazy and get angry if u pick them up when they dont want to be picked up

Its natural . Cats do like that only. Its their nature. They would scratch things as they feel good by doing this . So this looks trouble some to you. But you can triimm your cats\ nails or buy a scratching post for your cat so that the cat srcatches that instead of furnitures
