Why does my cat bite my toes in the morning?
Every morning my cat jumps onto the bed, and chomps on my toes! Why does he do this and how can I get him to stop?

This plays into the “no hands” no feet” rule we made up at our house. For our first 7 rescue kittens… we let them play with our hands and our feet when they were babies on up. They learned that that behavior was ok because we let them do it. We thought it was cute. Well it was cute until they grew up and still wanted to bite hands and pounce feet.
The last 6 kittens we had, we implemented the no hands and no feet rule. It worked, and none of them do it now that they are grown up.
I have not been able to break the older cats from it though.
Our newest rescue cat is a hand biter. She is an adult and is about 5. No matter what I do she just won’t stop biting. Not to be mean, she just thinks that is acceptable attention because no one ever taught her better.
A firm NO and a redirect in another direction can often help some though.
