It’s fun to chase and hunt!
(Just make sure to never leave your cat unattended with string. No only do they like to chase and hunt it, they like to eat it too and that can be deadly. Always supervise.)

The string moves doesn’t it???When cats see something move,it triggers a stimulous in their brain that tells them to chase whatever is moving.To them the string is prey,and when it moves it’s trying to run away.So they chase it.It’s kinda like when they tell you not to run from an attacking lion because it will chase you…
