Is it bad to smoke and get my cat high on marijuana?
Me and my girlfriend smoke weed on a daily bases. and the cat just happens to join everytime we happen to do so. So if he wants to get high, i simply say to myself, “why not?”. And as he is baked, he likes to roll around in circles in his litter box. is this normal? is this bad? someone let me know please…..=’/

I don\\\’t know the affects on a cat, but just using common sense I would say cut down on the amount of exposure - put it in a different room after a while. It is a carcinogen, and over a long time can have all the same affects as tobacco smoke.

Cats are prone to cancer, just like people so every time you expose your cat to smoke you are increasing the chances. Pertaining to marijuana it can cause asthma, vomiting, bradycardia, seizures and some times coma. It is recommended to keep your cat as far away from the substance as possible.
Its not too good for you either, although you have a choice and your cat does not.

You should probably keep your cat away from you when you\\\’re doing that, also, You should visit a vet to make sure it didn\\\’t do anything to your cat.

I will not go into a debate about whether or not you should smoke marijuana. That is totally your choice. Remember, your cat has no choice. I don\\\’t really think your cats joins you because of the pot. It probably joins you because it sees an opportunity to hang out with you and your girlfriend. Personally, I smoke cigarettes and I try not to smoke around my cats because I figure their lungs are very small and any kind of smoke is toxic. I choose to smoke (even knowing all the health risks I put myself through… which are most probably worse that the health risks of marijuana) but I don\\\’t smoke around people who choose not to and I extend that courtesy to my cats.
