most of the time when cats play they dont have their claws out. but sometimes they get ahead of themselves and they will whip them out, if your really worried about this hun the best thing is to get them little balls and mouses to throw around or you can get peacock feathers or any kind of feathers on a stick like thing and dangle it around them and drag it across the floor they love it
