This is one of the reasons experts suggest starting your new cat off in a \\\”safe room\\\” rather than just plopping her in the new home. If she\\\’s taken up residence under your bed, perhaps you can turn your room into a temporary safe room for her. Bring her litter box, food, water, scratching post, and toys into your room and keep the door closed. Give her a few days to get used to just that space. Spend lots of time with her in there, playing with her, giving her treats, petting her, etc. Once she starts to get comfortable in that space and with you, allow her to start exploring other parts of the house. Hopefully that will help her become more comfortable and she won\\\’t spend her days under your bed.
Also, remember that cats are crepuscular AND big sleepers. They\\\’re not on the same sleep schedule as humans; they\\\’re most active at dawn & dusk. So even after she\\\’s become comfortable in her new home, she may prefer to spend her days napping in a nook somewhere.
Just be patient with her! ![]()

well first I would consider finding a healthy treat to lure the cat out also i would i would set up a safe spot where the feline has a good range of vision to enquire a feeling of the surrounding area and i would try to invest in a cat tree the gives the a safety from below but also give the cat a place to go when the bored or want to play.

my cat did the same thing it may take time for your cat to adjust to the new surroundings. just incourage your cat to come out and assure that this is a safr environment and maybe try some new toys she can use as comfort items like a cozy bed or soft blanket or soft plush animals hope this helps ![]()

Just be patient because eventually she will get used to her home and the different people. Pet her, and play with her. She won\\\’t hide forever.

Just give your cat treats when you see he comes out! Also talk to him so he feels more comfortable with you and just let him look around and see where everything is! One thing you should never do is scare him that will break the relationship between you too! Also don\\\’t ever force him/her out the cat will think you\\\’re the bad guy!! And just be patient try not to get to frustrated or to yell at him/her!!

Close the door to any room with a bed in it so your cat will stop hiding and start to learn more about you and your house.
ps- it can take some time
