my cat always scratches the furniture and plants in the house what should i do?

when he is in the house he always messes with the plants and furniture.he make marks on the furniture and he kills the plant by riping them off i just dont know what to do?

well here is one way you may stop him from destroying your plants and furniture.
see cats hate stickiness on their paws so what you eed to do.is buy a pack of sticky notes and just stick them whre he usually scratches your things and once when he feels its sticky.i guarentee you he will not mess with them again

you might want to declaw your cat but dont cut them too short you should do that so your cat doesn’t mess up ur funiture

Take whater bottle and spray him.if that dont work.Spiank it not hard but chintley and look it in the eye and tell what was worng to right.if that dont WORK”
take sticky notes and put them were the cats scraches are and put something verey sticky in the notes becaose cats hate being sticky sometimes=].than if that dont work”"
Put it in back yard were it well stay at and not go no were and let it scrach a tree branch.
or bye a scrach pole it help it strech and scrach on and it wont mess up your stuff but it OWns=]
or bye a cattree becouse it likes to clime and strech and scrach and play in and sleep on.

I do not know for sure about the couch, but if you bury citrus fruit in your plant he will stop digging. i do not know why, but they do not like the smell of citrus
