what's a ba-da beam? different than a regular laser pointer?

my two go nuts over it especially Cali. Cali even knows the sound it makes when you pick it up and I swear she can hear it no matter where she is in the house. If you pick it up you better be prepared to play with her or she gets upset.

My cat freaks out over any small thing that moves, especially laser pointers. Although, I’m always cautious because I don’t want to accidentally point it near their eyes
