This is getting WAY out of hand. I mean, some people just don’t like other people, and they minus GOOD answers, just because they don’t like that person. I mean, it’s wrong! And because you can’t report them for that, I thought of something: we should not be able to minus someone less than zero. So like, if someone has 3 points, you could take it down to 2 points. But if it’s at zero, you shouldn’t be able to let people minus you down to something like negative nine! Tell me who arees with me, thinks I’m wrong, or has some suggestions that you think would alternate this idea a little.

Unfortunately many have been using this site like a chat site for whatever they feel like posting. I think people are fed up and that's why the minusing is happening. I THINK that's what my catinagadadaveda is trying to say though the spelling is abit off. The other reason why you may get a minus is if you don't have a correct answer to a problem. Some people will post anything just to post.

I have to back luvmycats up on this one - and I don't understand why there are so many minuses on her answer. She's completely right. LENGTH is not the indicator of quality. You could have a 400-word response that is completely off topic, or completely full of misinformation. That would be a bad answer that would deserve a minus. You mention telegramsam - yes, he has long answers. But his answers are accurate and insightful. They are good answers - not necessarily because they're long (not all of them are), but because they are accurate and helpful. If an answer is CORRECT, and helpful, it doesn't matter who posted it; people are going to give it a plus.

It's pretty much gotten out of hand for some reason. We still have many trolls on here and I do believe they're part of the problem we have with minusing.
