can female cats fight

last night i saw a cat outside my window screen, and it was hissing and getting ready to fight. my cat was doing this also, and she is a neteured female. is this normal??

Yes all cat’s fight.they fight just like we do but cat’s can be a little more agressive when it come’s to fighting.don’t approach them when there fighing because you can get badly hurt.cat’s have sharp claw’s and they could scratch you pretty bad……. P.S. Male cat’s are neteured and female cat’s are spayed

Yes. I find that cats fight for basicly the same reasons as humans - they don’t get on well.They don’t normaly hurt each other but if your cat shows pain after a fight contact a vet emidietly!

yes, cats have territory which if another goes in their territory they try to chase them off! females and neuters take a smaller territory than males, they will defend it just as hard.
