my cat does that too. it may be because your cat is eating to fast. it’s the same with humans if you eat to fast you don’t feel good and you may throw up well this could be happening to your cat. next time your cat is eating watch how fast it is eating if your cat does eat to fast give your cat the normal amount of food it gets but in small portion so it won’t eat as fast. hope this helps!!!!!

mebelle1996 I couldent have said it any better. fattyratty, your cat is eating to fast. When a cat eats too fast, like a human, cats digestive system gets to full at once so it sends the food right back up.You should try what mebelle said, give you cat small portains at a time.

If you notice your cat is NOT eating, this means your cat dosent like its food, so it is throwing up BILE, the kind of throw up a mammel throws up when it hasent eaten and is hungrey. But since you didnt say your cat wasent eating, I will go back to the eating to fast portian.

About the throw up… make sure your cat is NOT eating it, it will just get your cat to throw up again. If it throws up to much, since throwing up really uses your stomeche mussels, so your cat will get really weak, and might think of the throw up as food to make it feel better, witch really makes it worse.

anyway, after all the answers weve givin you and all the advise, you should still cheak in with your vet, because I and mebelle arent vets( I think mebelle isnt). So remeber to just cheak in with your vet if our things dont work.

Hope that helped!

Check with your vet first. If your cat still vomits alot — Is this a new kitten? Does he throw up right after he eats? Does it look like undigested food? Sometimes changing food too quickly will cause vomitting. I lived with my kitties vomitting for a year — the vet said they had IBD but I decovered it was their food. Even tho the food was vet recommended I learned it wasn’t premium food. Once I slowly changed food the vomitting quit. Something to try.
