How does a cat act when they are about to go into heat?
My calico Princess is acting really strange. She paces around and whines really loud for no reason. And she has food and water so I don’t understand why she does this. I haven’t had her long and I’m getting her fixed in a couple of weeks. I just wanted to know if this was a personality trait or if this behavior will go away when I get her fixed.

you can tell if your cat is going into heat by:
acting crazy around the opposite sex
running over to a human of the opposite sex and “joy riding”
Staying away for long periods of time

Well have you gave her vacinations?Did you check if shes pregnant?She may have a disease or maybe have children soon.You need to check this ever year or if shes acting rude like now.

Yes your cat is going into heat either that or she wants to go outside.
Oh, does she roll around on the ground (not just playing around) thats another sign of heat.
DONT LET HER NEAR A MALE CAT NO MATTER WHAT !!!
