We recently went out of town for New Year’s Day. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, we travel with our cats.
On this particular trip, I was stuck in the backseat with the cats. I was holding B-Rock, and I noticed that his paws (the actual pads, not the tops) felt damp. He hadn’t wet himself, and there wasn’t any condensation or moisture anywhere in the car (that I could find, that is!), leading me to this question: Do cats sweat via their paws?

yes i also think so if your cats paw sweat again give i a piece of ice cube to play with it will surely work and assist in not letting your cat sweat

I'm thinking it was more a stress-induced sweat, not due to heat (as it is cold as all getout in Ohio these days!). But should summer days bring sweaty paws, I will give that a shot! :)

your cat could have been stressed or sick which caused its paws to sweat.

the paw is the only place for a cat to sweat. anytime i take my cat to the vet he leave sweaty cat prints on the table. its rather cute…..=)
