Do cats cry?

I don’t think cats “cry” in the sense that humans do, with tears. But I do think that they understand our feelings and can sense when we have something wrong.

I’m almost sure that they do! Im not quite sure if it is really because they are emotional or what, but after I cut onions, my kitties both have watery little eyes. Maby if something really stressful happened to your cat it would cause it to “cry”, I’m not quite certian though.

Well...my cat was attacked by two dogs...he was almost killed....he was deppressed for, like, a week, and he didn't cry literary, but inside...it was really awfull

yes…i think (without tears though)

yes i do think they cry inside not wit tears tho, wen its stressful for my kitties, or something they’ll be quite sad and cryin inside

I think that cats can tell how we feel, and I think that they can get depressed.
When i cry, I think that my cat understands that I am unhappy, and she tries to make me feel better, and it always works!

They don’t have any tears if that’s what you mean. But they do feel sad and have there own ways of showing it
