Can cats really tell when you are sick?

My dad died of cancer like 4 months ago and when he first got sick i got this little kitten and she wouldn’t stay away from him when ever he would sit down in his recliner she would jump up with him. when he left us she would go around the house looking in different rooms and yowling really load like she was callin for him. She stoped like 4 weeks ago. And I AM Not Lieing!!!!

I don’t think cats really tell that you are sick. your kitten might be liking your dad and tht is why she would go around your dad and play with him.

Actually cats CAN tell when someone or something is sick.When you are sick the illness has a scent(sometimes you can smell this too if you have a good nose!).Cats are much more able to smell this than we are though.

im sorry about your dad r u better now?
cats can smell sickness but yes maybe your cat had a fondness of your father
your cat might not have known he was gone

Cats can not tell when you are sick. Your dad probably wasn’t doing much and the cat came to comfort him. How are you about your dad dieing. My grandfther died when I was 4. I no how it feels.
