why are cats so mad when you hold them

Not all cats are terribly cuddly or like feeling out of control. On the flip side, there are plenty of cats who are contented to be cradled all day long! I happen to have one of each! Just as people have different personalities, so do cats.

The kitty might not have gotten that kind if attention when very young to get used to it. I hold my kitten with one hand under her to keep her secure and I lean back a little so she just leans onto me. You could try using treats if you have a cat that struggles, it might not work though. But it all could be just how that certain cat is personality wise. Hope this helps! =^.^=
