my cat bella well she follows me around the house and wen i sleep she always sleepes w/ me!! is she protecting me or does she love me and want attention?

This is a normal thing to do, your cat wants to play. This following you around is to attract attention. If it annoys you I would play with it a little or lock your room at night so it can’t get in. I don’t think it is doing this to protect you. Most wild cats(not the big ones, wild house cats if you know what I mean) live solitary lives alone so they don’t have the instinct to protect other cats or people like dogs do.
Just to warn you when my cat sleeping at the end of me bed and pouncing on my feet annoyed me and I locked her out I found out that Kate is really good at singing, easpecially at around 2 in the morning.

i think she wants your attention and that is why she sleeps near u so that u can play with her.
it is a kind of affection between u and your cat
