Cats.com should have some laws. You can make a set of laws and post it in a cat question, and then everyone can look at them and cat-mail me voting wich set of laws they like. Who wants to do that?

yes. here are some rules i have came up with kittykid3.
1. do not use swear words
2. do not argue
3. do not post everything in all caps
4. make good questions. not like kcufhsjsdghaj. make it like: how to cat’s reach their toes or something that has to do with cats.
5. do not give out adresses, phone numbers,or your name.
i am coming up with more,kittykid3 but this is all i have now. i will be back tomorrow with more rules.

I think these are excellent rules! SO many people argue about things. I get sick of it. You obviously aren't going to change their minds, so why even bother?? It's a waste. BTW, when you say not to write in all caps, does that mean the entire post or just words at a time? Because sometimes people capitilize good words for emphasis.

Good job, but I think it's o.k. to give out your first name; last name IS a little too much. And, no random comments, like Victor's famous,"I love straycat10 and people are weird I love straycat10 and her body i stalk her! i hate people look at this video!!!!" Like that! Please no offensive comments, random comments, or minusing someone just because their answer was too short, disagreeing with you, and things like that. Mama Mia

I agree completely. We do need rules here on cats.com, because the ones that the creators of the site made are clearly not working. Here are a few of my ideas. Let me know what you guys think. Maybe if we have some type of democracy or something, people will gladly follow the rules.
~First of all, if you have a personal promblem with someone (hint, hint, straycat10& ilovemycatsam10), cat-mail them about it, or better yet, just email them, talk to them in person, or chat about it on myspace. That’s where all this drama really belongs.
~People should absolutely not post random things(that do not contain to cats), especially if they are vulgar.
~Maybe CAPS should be allowed. I mean, if you want to say,”Oh wow! I love cats SO MUCH!”, why should you be reported?
~Don’t just give people a minus just because you are upset with them or you don’t exactly agree with their point of view. People work very hard to gain points, and it feels really bad to have them taken away for no good reason.
~Please be respectful and treat others the way you want to be treated; not just on cats.com, but in life in general. Trust me, it’ll get you a lot farther in life.
~If you know for a fact that someone is causing a problem on this site, please kindley cat-mail them about it to inform them and to basically tell them “it’s not cool”. But please don’t make a big announcement about through the whole site because that could be very embarassing, or even cause more drama.
Sorry, but that’s all I got. And one last thing for the people I mentioned earlier: Please don’t ruin the experinece of the site for all of us that are actually here to ask questions and give advice about cats, because it’s plainly just don’t fair, and I’m sure that majority of users on the site would agree with me.
