I’ve always heard that if mommy kitty smells you on her kittens that she wont want to take care of them anymore

i wouldnt, sometimes if you touch a newborn kitten they might grow and not like to be petted because they were touched when they were little. also, they are EXTREMELY tender when they are first born, and touching them can hurt or even permanently damage the kitty. you might want to wait about 2 or 3 weeks before touching them. even then BE CAREFUL.

I don\\\’t thinks it\\\’s a good idea to touch them before their eyes open(at around 1 week) for 2 reasons:
1.Their mother could abandon them(especially if she\\\’s not used to you)
2. You are much much stronger than a newborn kitten so you could harm one without even meaning to.
Hope this helps!
