It seems like every two weeks my two older cats are going around the house crying how ofthen do cats go in to heat.

Female cats can go into heat and get pregnant as early as 4 months of age. They are usually in heat for 7 to 10 days at a time, and will go in and out of heat every week or two until they are mated or spayed.
It is best to spay and neuter all cats before they reach sexual maturity (as early as 3 months to before 6 months) to avoid pregnancy, deadly pyometra, spraying and other behavioral issues, discomfort to the cat and the annoying behaviors that unfixed cats display.

my cat went ito heat in February at 6 mos. Her and her boyfriend would do it several times a day. The even did it right before and after she gave birth. She never acted like she was in heat. I believe she just adores him, because she would pay more attention to him more than her kittens. As far as going into heat I have heard so many, I believe they go into heat anytime/

my cats always go into heat they want to show you she is ready it comes about every 21 days soon you will get use to it if you have dogs try not to get the dogs so close the cat will get happy and the dog will understand my dogs wont they are coach potatos really

The female cat has 2-4 estrous periods every year, each lasting 15-22 days. If she is bred, estrus seldom lasts more than 4 days.
If successful mating does not occur, estrus may last for 7-10 days and recur at 15- to 21-day intervals. It is possible for an unmated female to cycle every 3-4 weeks indefinitely.
Cats also have an estrous period 1-6 weeks after giving birth, so a female may be nursing one litter while pregnant with another.

my vet says twice a year they go into heat. she said they cant spay her until her milk dries up.
