Will my mother cat get depressed after I take her kittens when they are 8 weeks old?

It just depends on the cat. Some cats are happy to see their kittens go, some are sad. You will just have to wait and see.
You really should consider allowing the kittens to stay with her until they are 12 weeks old though. There are so many things that they need to learn from her that they miss out on when taken at 8 weeks. 12 weeks is pretty much the standard recommended age these days. 8 weeks is bare minimum.

i had 4 litters of kittins…the mom,(missy) was crying for them the frist 2 days…she got over it….my cat did all 4 times. but we kept a cat from her frist litter(boobie)….so yeah they will be depressed fro a lil wile

well on the real…
the mother cat cries for quite a while or she sits down all day with dissapointment
but really its the baby cats that cryy alot for there mom!!
but you have to get them used to it!!
