A troll is someone who asks phony questions or provides phony answers to valid question just to get a reaction of horror or disgust from other users. It frequently starts out as black humor. (Younger users - black humor has nothing to do with the person, and is used in the same way that black can be used to describe majic). A troll sees how much of a rucus one bad pun or joke causes, and tries to raise a bigger rucus next time.
